Antonio Teixeira, (AKA) Tony Teixeira 43, chief of staff for Senate President Nick Scutari, Democrat chair of Elizabeth, NJ and former Director of the Board of Elections.


An Elizabeth man who previously served as a staff member in the New Jersey Senate Monday admitted his role in a conspiracy to falsely inflate the invoices that a political consultant submitted to various campaigns, political action committees, and IRS 501(c)(4) organizations, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced.

According to federal officials, Antonio Teixeira, 43, chief of staff for Senate President Nick Scutari (D-Linden), pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge John Michael Vazquez to an information charging him with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and one count of tax evasion. UNION COUNTY — The county contains the second highest percentage of the state’s unhoused population, according to a report that helps determine federal funding to programs for people experiencing homelessness. Union County's social services director anticipates more resources will be provided to those living without homes in the county.

This past June, Drag Queen Story Hour is underway at Tëmike Park in Plainfield, part of the Union County Parks system. Mean while homelessness climbs to all time high in Union County 
The Union County board of Commissioners approve salary increases for themselves for the fourth Consecutive year in a row, with the county manager salary $225,397 his salary has increased 18.8%. The County Parks & Recreation Director to receive a 9.4% increase. While the Commissioners receive a 2% increase to 38,000 dollars and we wonder where the half a Billion dollar budget is going.
