Good morning, I want to thank all who attended the Christmas Breakfast.
I have two announcements to make.
First, I will be hosting a monthly Republican Breakfast at a different location around the county to support small business and bring us together, starting in January (Details to follow) The cost will be no more than $15.00 per person. I am attaching a link to this email to gain interest, please, if interested sign up for more info.
The second one is that I am starting a monthly newsletter of issues and events surrounding Union County and all our 21 towns. I'd like all of your input, if you have an event or anything else you would like shared, please email the info or flyer to Commissioner@unioncountyvote.org before the 28th of each month, the letter will go out on the first of each month.

In attendance was Glenn Mortimer, Congressman Tom Kean Jr, Senator Jon Bramnick, Assemblywoman Nancy Munoz, Assemblywoman Michele Matsikoudis. Congratulations to Al Morgan Mayor of New Providence, Alex Kogan, Diane Bilicska New Providence council, Khanjan Patel Councilman from Roselle Park, Billy Mauro, Savino Scorese Council of Kenilworth, and our Clark Candidates for council Frank Mazzarella, Patrick O'Connor, Steve Hund and Brian Toal.

The Union County board of Commissioners approve salary increases for themselves for the fourth Consecutive year in a row, with the county manager salary $225,397 his salary has increased 18.8%. The County Parks & Recreation Director to receive a 9.4% increase. While the Commissioners receive a 2% increase to 38,000 dollars and we wonder where the half a Billion dollar budget is going to.
